To Chirp is to Lie

Chirp (n): infrequent generally unimportant emails sent to prove that you are working when you actually aren’t.

Chirp (v): to send infrequent emails to prove one is working when not

Chirping: “She said she was working from home, but I know she was just chirping.”

Chirper: “I thought he was supposed to be on vacation” – “He is, but he’s a chirper because he doesn’t want to claim vacation time so he can roll it over.”
